What is YC?
YC? is a weekly event for young people of Year 6 and upwards that is a hybrid model of church and a youth club; somewhere in-between. We meet every Sunday at the same time as the LCW main event.
YC? serves to provide:
A safe, welcoming space for young people to hang out together
Supportive, caring leaders
A brief non-threatening Christian message
YC? aims to provide a space for young people to attend a weekly event facilitated by church and Christians. In addition, YC? will provide a gateway to Life Church Wilmslow and other churches.
YC? is held during school term time. Leaders and helpers are DBS checked. Each week there are a range of activities and games, and a less than 5 minute Christian talk. Light refreshments are usually available at no cost.

Darren Morgan, Leader of YC?
Darren is a headteacher and supports other schools and headteachers. He is the chairperson of Trafford and Manchester Table Tennis leagues and runs Stretford Table Tennis Club. He sits on Trafford’s Social Care improvement board and is a trustee for Trafford’s voluntary sector. He is a keen sportsperson with dodgy knees. Darren drums in a band called Headband.
Darren has three wonderful children and became a Christian over thirty years ago.
